Always a great experience when I come here. My favorite chicken sandwich shop in OC. Friendly staff, tasty food, and reasonable prices.

First time visit. Best spicy chicken sandwich I've had in Southern California to date! Dynamite with excellent quality! I ordered the Nashville Hot. Initially, I thought the heat on "Hot" wasn't hot enough, but it started to build nicely and brought plenty of pleasant heat that never overpowered the entire sandwich. Chicken was perfectly cooked, massive and succulent. The exterior texture of the breast maintained its crispness which is very pleasing. Kinda resembled an extra crispy recipe, which pairs well with the vinegar based slaw, pickles and brioche bun. All the elements came together well with any one element not over powering the other. Fries were good, but with that exceptional sandwich, I'd also envisioned to be blown away with a special french fry (I ask too much). Corn fritters were tasty, but some of the bits of corn appeared dehydrated? So it left some unpleasant textures. Mac and Cheese was delicious and tasted homemade. All in all, I really enjoyed my experience here and look forward to return for my spicy chicken sandwich fix. Keep up the good work!

I ordered a mild nashville hot, mainly for the slaw, and there was barely any in my sandwich LOLL. The chicken itself was pretty good, really good size and not spicy at all so I could've done 1-2 levels higher and been at a comfortable level I feel Objectively, good sandwich but nothing special, and I feel like it's outrageously expensive for a chicken sandwich Pretty slow service and for the price, I wouldn't come back

1-Excellent Nashville chicken. 2- The best corn fritters on earth (if Irvine was Earth). 3- order that sauce on the side I was truly confused by the menu board on the wall. I struck an entire star for it! Sorry. That menu on the wall is TINY! Please managers: re-print it out so the words are legible to all kinds of people with various eyes. The menu truly required eagle eyes to read and threw my order off gaurd. Am I getting old?! OK enough harping on the menu. The food is fantasmically deliciosa. I'm always trying to find a place that makes a good corn fritter. This was just perfect with one itsy bitsy gripe. It didn't come with honey! Yes I want that honey! Booya. Drizzle that stuff on your fritter, and you'll be speaking with a southern twang in an instant. Yeehaa! A few words of caution to the Cluckkin' Ill informed (those new to the roost and lacking eagle eyes): 1. Their sauces are bomb delicious and is the reason you're there (not just the cluk). You pay for them, they don't just hand that shizz out! Ranch, "come back sauce (tangy mayo)", honey mustard, etc. 2. If you want the hot cluk, you gotta ask for the Nashville shizz. I mean it. Add in the shizz. Mild will be fine. It's not the classic cluk. You got that? If you order the classic, that's what ya get. A hohum SoCal classic deep fried breast with no heat. And there in lies my star subtraction. I ordered a classic, asked for it HOT, and to my dismay, the classic is just that. If you're craving a hot cluckin chicken sandwich, get the Nashville. Yippeekiyay muthacluckas! Sit outside, ain't much inside 'cept hot chicks n air conditioning.
